Introduction

This department was demerged from the “Biochemistry, Diet Therapy and Nutrition in community” department in 2011. The academic staff of the department provide educational services to B.Sc. M.Sc., and Ph.D. students of all departments in the school and other schools of the university. They also lead wide-ranging research in clinical and non-clinical fields, with particular focus on population-based studies.
